Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AgentAnchor ("the Service"), provided by Vorion LLC ("we", "us", or "Vorion"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

AgentAnchor is an enterprise AI agent governance platform that provides trust scoring, capability gating, policy enforcement, and cryptographic audit trails for autonomous AI agents. The Service is built on the open-source BASIS standard (Apache-2.0).

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@vorion.org.

4. Intellectual Property

Your data remains yours. Vorion does not claim ownership of any agent configurations, trust data, governance policies, or other content you create within the Service. AgentAnchor's underlying platform, code, and documentation are the intellectual property of Vorion LLC, except for open-source components governed by their respective licenses.

5. EU Data Act Compliance

Effective for customers in the European Union

5.1 Termination and Switching Rights

You may terminate your subscription at any time with thirty (30) days' notice. Upon termination, you will have sixty (60) days to export your data before it is deleted. We will not charge any switching fees, data egress fees, or early termination penalties for exercising this right.

5.2 Data Export

You may export your data at any time during your subscription through:

  • The AgentAnchor dashboard (Settings → Data Export)
  • The API endpoint GET /api/v1/export (returns JSON)
  • By contacting support@vorion.org for assisted export

Exported data includes: agent configurations, trust score histories, governance decision logs, proof chain records, and account settings. Data is provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (JSON).

5.3 Data Portability

Upon request, we will provide your data in a format that allows transfer to another service provider. We will not impose technical barriers to switching.

5.4 Interoperability

AgentAnchor is built on the open-source BASIS standard (Apache-2.0). Agent configurations, trust scoring rules, and governance policies are defined in open formats that are not proprietary to Vorion.

5.5 Subprocessor Transparency

A current list of subprocessors (cloud infrastructure providers, third-party services that process your data) is maintained at vorion.org/legal/subprocessors and updated with 30 days' advance notice of changes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vorion LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including EU consumer protection law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, except where overridden by mandatory EU consumer protection or data protection law. For EU customers, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under GDPR, the EU Data Act, or the EU AI Act.
